Terms and Conditions
Sophia Edu Labs develops the mobile learning app "Sophia Math" powered by AI. By accessing or using our app, you agree to be bound to theses Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Sophia Math, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and any amendments thereto, as well as any additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the app, including without limitation users who are browsers, students, teachers, and/or contributors of content.
License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Sophia Edu Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and install the app on your personal device(s) solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Sophia Edu Labs may offer additional content, services, or features for purchase within the app, including monthly subscriptions ("In-App Purchases"). By subscribing to our services, you agree to the following terms:
3.1 Subscription Terms:
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis ("Subscription Period") and give you access to certain premium features or content during the Subscription Period. Payment will be charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
3.2 Automatic Renewal:
Subscriptions automatically renew each month. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current Subscription Period. The cost of renewal will be provided to you. You agree that the subscription shall renew automatically, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current Subscription Period.
3.3 Cancellation:
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
3.4 Price Changes:
Sophia Edu Labs reserves the right to modify subscription prices at any time, upon advance notice to you. If you do not agree to the price change, you have the right to reject the change by unsubscribing from the service before the price change takes effect.
3.5 Refunds:
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis and are not refundable, except as required by law. If you cancel your subscription, you will have access to your subscription until the end of the current Subscription Period, but you will not be provided a refund for any remaining portion of the term.
Copyright and Content Usage
All content provided through the Sophia Math app, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, and software, is owned by Sophia Edu Labs or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the app, use of the app, or access to the app without express written permission from Sophia Edu Labs.
User Conduct
You agree to use Sophia Math only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the app. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within Sophia Math.
Disclaimers
Sophia Math and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Sophia Edu Labs does not guarantee that the app will be free from errors or omissions and reserves the right to make changes to the content at any time without notice. Sophia Edu Labs also does not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or secure.
Termination
Sophia Edu Labs may terminate or suspend your access to Sophia Math immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms and Conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
Sophia Edu Labs reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use Sophia Math after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
